Service Description COIN runs 6 small enterprises:
  • reBOOT Peterborough for computer refurbishing;
  • TEKdesk, a provincial & local computer and internet training and support lab; 
  • COIN Food Services, including Natural Blends Café at the Library,  World2Go Catering and the Kawartha Cookie Company, provides a work environment for our employment facilitation training program, in addition to serving the public. 
  • The Learning Source - offering Accessibility Training, leisure and skills-building courses courses and workshops in the Peterborough area.
  • COIN Enterprise Services - offering training in business planning to youth, women, immigrants, others.
Enterprises are used for training as well as job placements for people with barriers to employment.
Eligibility Primarily ODSP & Ontario Works
List of Employment Services Unique on-the-job training and assessment for ODSP clients, with job placement and one-on-one support after they have completed COIN’s training programs.

On-the-job training for Ontario Works clients to help with job skills, building self-esteem, job search, placement and job coachine post-hire..
