Youth Programs and Services

  • Access to available jobs with partnering local companies that are suitable for youth.
  • Assessment for eligibility for the Employing Young Talent Initiative program, designed to help unemployed youth to connect with local employers, including hiring and retention incentives.

Eligibility

Services are free and all are welcomed.

Assessment for eligibility for special programs and services can be arranged by appointment or on a walk-in basis.

Employer Services All programs and services are funded by the government of Ontario, through Employment Ontario.
  • Registrations are welcomed from small, medium-size and large companies to ensure that local employers are empowered with the most up-to-date information about programs, services and financial incentives for hiring, training and retaining employees.
  • Personalized Needs Assessments, to ensure employers are aware of Employment Ontario (and other programs and services) that support growth and prosperity
  • Screening Support services to assist employers to find the best candidates for their needs
  • Eligibility Assessment for financial incentives for hiring, training and retaining new employees
  • Eligibility Assessment for financial supports available for upskilling and retraining existing employees, through the Canada Ontario Job Grant
  • Resources and referrals to support local businesses with human resources needs
